March is National Child Life Specialist Month. In honor of Ariel loving her child life specialist and her love for stuffed animals, we held a stuffed animal drive for Riley Children's Hospital! Drop-off locations included Ahlemeyer Bakery and Columbus Pool and Patio.
 

For the Love Bake Sale

Alexa Richards, as a part of her senior project, held a bake sale on February 12-14 at Columbus North High School during A and B lunches. Chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies, and brownies were available for purchase. All of the profits went to the Well Yeah Ariel Roberts Foundation. Thank you Alexa!

Eagles #471 Purse Bingo

On Wednesday, December 13th the Eagles #471 in Columbus, Indiana hosted a purse bingo. The event included a fun night of bingo and a taco bar! Proceeds went to the Well Yeah Ariel Roberts Foundation and two other charities. 
 

Dancing for a Cure

Gabi Duncan's senior project, Dancing for a Cure, was a dance recital fundraiser in memory of Natalie Donohoe-Hart and Ariel Roberts. The recital was held at Columbus North Auditorium on November 12 from 1pm-2:30pm. Proceeds from the event were donated to the Well Yeah Ariel Roberts Foundation. Thank you Gabi!
 

Mayor Signs Proclamation

On September 1st, Mayor Lienhoop signed a proclamation to declare September childhood cancer awareness month in Columbus, Indiana!

Decorate Crack the Whip Kids

The crack the whip kid statues, as you drive into Downtown Columbus, were decked out in gold and childhood cancer awareness gear for the month of September!

Texas Roadhouse Dine-to-Donate

On September 5th, Texas Roadhouse in Columbus, IN held a donation night to support the Well Yeah Ariel Roberts Foundation & our mission to raise awareness for childhood cancer! 10% of total food purchases, dine-in or to-go orders, from 4:30pm-9:00pm were donated. 

Hoosiers Outrun Cancer

Hoosiers Outrun Cancer is an annual event to celebrate people who have faced cancer in Bloomington, Indiana. The event raises money to provide free cancer support services to anyone impacted by cancer. The year we participated in the event as a part of the A-Team. This team was created to honor Ariel and celebrate Ava!

Childhood Cancer Awareness Community Prayer

On September 17th we gathered at Columbus City Hall to have a community prayer for childhood cancer awareness. For anyone whose life has been affected by childhood cancer and for those working in the health care system that care for kids with cancer.

Chicago's Pizza Dine-to Donate

On September 18th, Chicago's Pizza in Columbus, Indiana did a donation night to support the Well Yeah Ariel Roberts Foundation & our mission to raise awareness for childhood cancer! 20% of the proceeds, dine-in or to-go, from 5:00pm-8:00pm were donated when you presented the flyer.

Mill Race Marathon 2023

The Mill Race Marathon is an annual event that takes place in Columbus, Indiana. This year, a group of marathon participants wore gold shirts during the race to bring awareness to childhood cancer!

G.L.O.W Like Sarah 5k

Hope FFA and G.L.O.W like Sarah are teamed up to host a 5k on September 30 that donated proceeds to the Tyler Trent Foundation. The Tyler Trent Foundation supports pediatric cancer research.

Cheering for Childhood Cancer Awareness

The Well Yeah Ariel Roberts Foundation bought gold pom poms for the high school cheer teams in Columbus, IN to use during the month of September to help bring awareness to childhood cancer while cheering on the sports teams!
